Well it's been a while since I posted anything up here. It's been a crazy few months.  The summer here has been really typical, and if global warming has anything to do with it, I'm not sure I like it! However I have managed to catch the sunshine on a few different cruises. The India trip was fantastic, and experienced the best curry EVER on the flight from Bangalore to Cochin! It's a wonderful but sad place to see, and the extremes of wealth vary so much. However the hospitality of the people are unbelieveable. I took a RickShaw around Cochin and was invited by the "taxi driver" to see his home and family, where they offered me a meal. How could I refuse.. Rangit, his wife and children were all living in a three room house with both sets of Grandparents. I was overwhelmed by the sincerity and generosity of these people. 

Last month I had a wonderful time on the Marco Polo and managed to meet and play with Genadi and his orchestra! I've never played with a band that were so fantastic, humble and great guys. And...they could put away the vodka! Immediately after, I joined the...

I have just returned from a fantastic month trip cruising around South America.As usual I was working but there was plenty of time to see some fantastic places and to soak up the sunshine or lack of it! One of the highlights was the Falklands which were not only stunning, but the fish and chips weren't bad either! I've posted some photos on the site. ANother highlight was when everybody got up very early to see the passage around Cape Horn, so armed with hot chocolate at 7am we held on for dear life as the ship bounced upon the rough seas..not something I wil rush back to do or a while! I'm just getting ready for my next engagement in India which will be very interesting and looking forward to immensly. WIll post some more news very soon.
